Matteo Calcamuggi and Paola Marquis are a couple in mountain and life. Matteo is a IFMGA Mountain Guide with a deep passion for photography; Paola is a school teacher and great traveller. They both are ISIA ski instructors. We decided to leave our house and focus in the pursuit of what we like most: ski and climb. Our gap year project is focused to pursuit an endless winter, chasing snow and turns around the most beautiful places of the world. We started fall 2016 in New Zealand, before moving for winter 2017 to U.S., Canada and Alaska then finally escape to the mountains of Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. Actually we are living in a sexy and beautiful red lipstick van that we customized following our needs. This choice gave us the possibility to travel and access the best places saving a lot of money to travel more. Our van’s name is KIWI, and he’s taking us on a multitude of adventures.
